LSC Outreach Program: New Job Alert
Have you recently taken up a new profession or hobby, but don’t know where to start? Having trouble finding someone experienced in what you’re interested in doing? Well, the good people down at Los Santos Customs are here to help through their New Job Alert! program! In this program, civilians can be given tasks to help them hone their skills, all with information and tips on where to get materials, needed tools, and more!
One example of a task that they offer is called “Where does this go?”. The shop will ask you to retrieve a car battery, a seatbelt set, and a screwdriver, then show you how to install them into the employee’s own personal vehicles, thus granting you work experience without actually being hired as a mechanic! In addition, many of the jobs they offer will give you a cash reward for your time, like the aforementioned job, which will grant you $500 as a reward.
More into finding materials than actually implementing them? Well, “Missing Office Supplies” might be for you! The shop asks you to go out and find some old broken furniture to restore, like a broken table, a broken chair, 4 plastic wheels, and such things that can be found in the dumpsters around the city. Like before, this job will award you $500 and some experience as a professional scavenger!
Maybe you like to keep your hands cleaner and enjoy some quiet time near the water. Well, “River Monster” might be just up your alley. You will be tasked with getting 10 rainbow trout, which you can either bring back to LSC for a $500 reward, or sell to one of their partnered restaurants for even more!
